The U.S. Army’s Army Fitness Test (AFT) replaced the ACFT on June 1, 2025, with different standards for combat versus general roles. Combat roles require a sex-neutral, age-normed standard with a minimum 60 points per event and a 350 total score, while general roles use sex- and age-normed scoring with a minimum of 60 points per event and a 300 total score. The AFT events are the 3 Repetition Maximum Deadlift, Hand-Release Push-Up, Sprint-Drag-Carry, Plank, and the Two-Mile Run.
